2010 Memorial Day Parade, American Legion

For those of you who follow this blog you know that I strongly support our troops both past and present. It is very important to attend the Memorial Day and Veteran's Day ceremonies and parade's to pay respect to those in the military who have sacrificed in keeping our country strong and free.

This year I marched with the Sons of the American Legion, Post 153 in Park Ridge, N.J.

I want to thank everyone at Post 153 for the Memorial Day ceremonies and a great parade. Remember to click on the link on the top left of this page and check out the Wounded Warrior Project. A worthy group that needs your support. Thank you.

Excellent blog. I also am a supporter of the WWP with a group called RI4GI'S . Check this out Frank, http://warwickonline.com/pages/full_story/push?article-Community+comes+to+the+table+for+Wounded+Warriors%20&id=7733581#comments_7733581
That was our Game Dinner in R.I. and this month we have a bike run called Warriors Not Forgotten. I am a Vietnam Vet and I do not want to see any Veteran judged or treated like we were when we came back to the world.
A salute to you Frank and I'll send this blog to the chairman of RI4GI to check out.
Excellent job and ride safe.

Hey Springer,
Thank you for your comments and for checking out my blog. Feel free to forward my site along to anyone else who likes to ride and supports the troops. I wish you the best of luck with your bike run. If I'm up that way I'll be sure to attend. As good Americans we must all pull together to support all of our troops, both past and present. Please check back often, keep me posted on your activities to support the troops and keep your comments coming. I am listing more information about you ride below.
Thanks,
Frank

Well it must be in the name. LOL
My name is Frank Marabello and founder and chairman of ri4gis.

We are on the same page regarding helping this generation of vets returning home from Iraq and Afghanistan. Though the years we have learned that every tool must be provided to those who have paid a price for them to continue with there lives with pride, dignity, and the honor they deserve.

I wish to tip my hat to you Frank for maybe our names are the same, but the cause we wish to support is also the same, namely the Wounded Warrior Project.

As a Viet Nam Veteran, I wish to thank you for placing your energy, and heart to something in the end that makes you feel good inside.

Keep in touch, maybe we can put something on together and meet somewhere in the middle. Maybe its the beginning of a great relationship.

Always
Frank

Frank,
Thanks for all you do to support the troops and the Vets and thank you for your service! Hats off to you! Sounds like you got a nice Italian name there, not unlike my own…lol. Yes let's stay in touch and I look forward to meeting you on the road. I put a link to your website on the left side of this page under, of course, "links." Keep me posted on your activities and we‘ll work together to support the troops. Sincerely, Frank Buonocore

Thanks Frank,

I have also asked my man who updates and makes changes in our blog site to put a link to your site. How about a ny4gis?

Later and always the Best
Frank

this ri4gis is a scam... the chairman above was denied membership into the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association for bad character...he was thrown out of the American Legion...he caused problems for the VFW...the Wounded Warrior Project dropped this RI4GIs and did not want them ruining their good name...these are the types of groups that make it hard for worthy groups to raise money for veterans... shame on them ...
