About Me
- The Ride
- Welcome to my blog, “The Ride.” I am an avid motorcycle rider and have been on some incredible trips with breathtaking scenery, great things to do, fun roads and sharp bikes. I believe a life that is worth living is worth sharing and recording in one way or another, so here we are. You’ll be seeing places to ride, routes to take, people I meet and things to see and do along the way. I’ll let you know where I’ve been and the direction I am heading. The Ride
This is my song "The Ride." I wrote it about the cross-country bike trip I took in 2008. It says everything I want to say about saddling up the bike and getting on the road. I also wrote it as a little metaphor for life.

Living life out on the highway
Riding down this country road
I see life is going my way
This land of freedom is my home, and I roam
I see adventure in the distance
I feel the sunshine on my face
At night the stars make their entrance
Dancing across time and space
Riding over the mountains, to the valleys down below
I take it west and head to the ocean, everywhere is where I want to go
I don’t look to hard at where I’m going
Remember folks of where I’ve been
Having a good time chasing the unknown
The only way I know to win

Watching the rain dancing on the road ahead
I hear the thunder in the sky
Oh man not again, it’s raining on my head
